Wearing glasses was uncomfortable, so I got rid of them...

I wish Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center will continue to be successful and busy as they are. My gratitude goes to all staff members and especially to Dr. Boothe who was patient and made sure that I would get the best result oot of surgery. I went to Dr. Boothe when I could not wear my contact lenses any longer (I wore them for 15 years). My retina was thin and began irritated me. I didn't want to return to wearing glasses. Dr. Boothe explained that a suitable solution for both of my problems is an eye correction surgery.

The surgery itself was done 2 weeks later personally by William Boothe with some help from his assistants. During my stay at the center I saw the high-quality service they provide to their patients. It is a fact that this eye correction surgery allowed me to continue living without worrying about my eyes and now I also don’t need to deal with contacts, which were always at the back of my mind. Every time I needed support, the personnel cared for me during the surgery and in the postoperative period.

Now I have adapted this new vision. I wish I had done the laser surgery before!

Each passing day my vision is getting better and better!

On May 5th, 2011 I underwent IntraLasik surgery at Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center. Before my laser procedure I came a few times came to center. These visits were pleasant and there were no long queues outside the different exam rooms.I had many questions and the attentive staff members always had the patience to answer them and spend enough time with me. Finally I agreed to do the IntraLasik after checking other options. The operation itself was painless. I didn't feel discomfort in my eyes after surgery. Three weeks later I already forgot about glasses. Each passing day my vision is getting better, I understand that this is a normal part of the healing process.

I was fed up with wearing glasses.

On my first consultation at the Boothe Eye Laser Center, Dr. Boothe said that my eye condition makes me a good candidate for IntraLasik surgery. One month later I returned to do the laser eye operation. Before surgery, I had -4.5 vision in both of my eyes. The surgery was easier and quicker than I thought. Yes, I was a little nervous before but I was fed up with wearing my eyeglasses.

I started to see in the first minutes after Dr. Boothe said that the laser correction was done and the nurse took me to the recovery room. I didn't experience any pain or complications after the surgical procedure. The next day I went to a standard follow up appointment with Dr. Boothe. When my eyesight was tested he said that I had 1.0 in the right eye and 1.0 in the left eye. I was very glad that after 12 years of wearing glasses I finally restored my natural good vision. During the next week I became accustomed to seeing without glasses and there was further improvement in my eyesight. Sometime in the evening I feel a little pain in my eyes (it has been two weeks since surgery) due to the unusual load on the eyes but the assistant explained that it is temporarily.
